Bishop Dr. Willie L James, Jr.

Dr. Willie L James, Jr is Kingdom Covenant Global Ministries' (KCGM) Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He and his wife, Dr. Danette L James, the Chief Operating Officer (COO), established KCGM and Let My People Learn (LMPL). Both ministries are headquartered in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. James is a courageous Christian with a strong relationship with Jesus Christ and his family. He is the devoted husband of 37 years to Dr. Danette and the father of two adult children, Willie III and Brittany. He is admired for his God-given perseverance, determination, and leadership. The Lord called him to the pastorate from (Acts 20:28) and prepared him.

Dr. James earned an Associate in Biblical Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Ministry Leadership from Geneva College. From Westminster Theological Seminary, he has a Master of Arts Degree in Christian Education, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctor of Ministry, concentrated in Pastoral Care & Counseling.

Bishop James has been a member of the Church of God (COG), whose headquarters is in Cleveland, Tennessee, for over 14 years and is an ordained bishop. He has served as Itinerant Pastor at Spring City Church of God in Spring City, PA and Senior Pastor for Commission Community and Fitzwater Church of God in South Philadelphia. 

He is a teacher, trainer, and theologian; he has traveled nationally and internationally preaching the unadulterated Word and teaching seminars. Some include evangelism, discipleship, the 21st-century church, leadership, church government, marriage, and many other topics. Bishop James’ mission is to be a Christian, disciple-making, kingdom-building pastor whose vision is to fulfill the mission through the Cultural Mandate (Genesis 1:26-28) and Evangelistic Mandate (Matthew 28:19-20). He counts it a privilege and honor to shepherd the flock of God in the part of the vineyard assigned to him.
